Current Goal

WOW! Holding it all Together has been resurrected. I'M SO EXCITED. The goal: to COME HOME. It's been on the road a long time and even though it's original plan was to be home by my son's graduation in May of 2008 it's BETTER LATE THAN NEVER. (see original goal below) Very sadly, the deadline for this travel bug to get back to my son has come and gone. I will wait a full year from today (7-7-8) before listing "Holding it all Together" as a lost cause. The bug has been traveling around collecting advice on clothes pins. (Dane Wesley got the DANE clothes pin in 1st grade to hold important papers.)

About This Item

march 050063.JPG

"Holding it all Together" is HOME! Thank you to everyone who added to the chain, giving your bit of advice. Even though his high school graduation is a year and a half past, the meaning of all of this is still the same. I will give the travel bug to "Dane" the next time we are together (probably Thanksgiving break). The words of advice might not mean a lot to him now, but in a few years I think the essence of this will sink in, and the touching, silly, straight-up, and wise bits of wisdom will start to be understood.
Special thanks to those who sent me the first batch of pins, to those who resurrected the bug, and to those who brought it back to Lancaster County...and of course to anyone who moved it along and added to its purpose.

This travel bug is now, officially, retired...BUT...the second son graduates in two years. I believe Holding it all Together will be out out of retirement SOON. Stay tuned!!!

Lg Aus Deutschland/Niederbayern/Passau, Kleesk007

At the beginning of the year, it's time to clean up the picture folder on my cell phone and finally log all the TBs and coins that I came across on my cache tours or while researching online. A number of photos have accumulated over the last few months. Whether seen in log entries, discovered at events or in collections, found stuck in cache containers or photographed on cache mobiles. Thank you to all owners for showing and discovering. Thank you for sharing. Lg from Germany/Lower Bavaria/Passau, Kleesk007

I AM SO EXCITED. Thank you for bringing it "home." I will go out this evening to track it down. Can't wait to surprise my son.

Thanks to everyone who moved it along the way, added to it, resurrected it, and got it within my reach. It's a good day.
