About This Item

Hobbes the Caching Tiger

When J was seven years old and living in Southeast Asia, he was given a tiger that he promptly named Hobbes. Hobbes faithfully stayed by J's side during childhood travels spanning 9 countries, 12 years, and thousands of miles.

Then J married K and gave Hobbes to her. K befriended Hobbes and kept him safe as J went on two military deployments overseas.

Now, Hobbes wants to travel with J again, so we gave him a trackable patch that was given to us for Christmas by the very same people who started us on geocaching. J's faithful tiger comes with us on our adventures as our very first trackable!

Look for this traveling tiger wherever the boxen-hunters go!
