AMTG London 2006 GC 1

Mid size coin with heft. The front of this coin has lots of delicate 3-D edge work as lots of enamel. It shows a London phone booth over a depiction of the London Bridge. The rim says "Anyone who tires of London tires of life". The reverse continues with the 3-D and enamel work. It shows the London bridge against clouds. It says "London 2006". This is coin number 502. 2006. A very nice coin. ------ info about the coin design : The red telephone box, a public telephone kiosk designed by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott, is a familiar sight on the streets of the United Kingdom, Malta, Bermuda and Gibraltar, and despite a reduction in their numbers in recent years, red boxes can still be seen in many places and current or ex-British Colonies around the world. The color red was chosen to make them easy to spot. ---------------So many of my GCs have been muggled that I only release new ones as virtuals.
