Took you with while I placed a cache in San Jose, Costa Rica. It took a little while for me to log this as I was waiting for the cache to be approved.

Back at it. This trip has me on a medium length layover in TPA (Tampa, Florida). I was able to get out for a 5.5 miles walk on this usual hot and humid Florida day. Found 7 caches today. Onward we fly...

Since SAT, we have done a lot of traveling, but unfortunately no caching. (until today)

Here is where I have taken you in the past week:
IAH-SAN-IAH-SAT-IAH-GYE-IAH-DEN-MSP

Back in MSP today, took geo-son #1 to swimming lessons. (same as last week) On our drive home we stopped by to find 4 caches. When I got home I received notice of a new cache listing which was less then 2 miles from home, so out I went for the FTF hunt. I GOT IT! This was my FIRST FTF! The caches was "19th Hole" (GC1E462) Because of my busy travel schedule, it is rare that I am at home when a new local cache pops up. But I got this one today. Sorry I didn't log you through all those caches today (which if you haven't already figured out....I usually only log through my travel companions on one cache per caching trip)

It is a short week at home, leaving Thursday for another (short) 4-day trip, return home by noon on Sunday. Unfortunately, this trip is similar to my last with overnights in SAT and GYE, so I probably will not get out for any caching. I have some time off after this trip, then a more interesting (or should I just say "different") trip scheduled for the last week in July. August schedules will be out soon with a bunch more caching destinations. Wherever I go, I'll be sure to bring you along..

Another short layover in SAT. A 5 mile walk was all I could handle in today's Texas heat. I replaced the log in a cache I own near the hotel. Also went out to found 4 other nearby caches. We leave this afternoon for IAH, then down to Ecuador (again) for 24hrs, then redeye back to IAH Monday morning.

Do to the fact that there is only ONE active cache in all of GYE (Guayaquil, Ecuador) And I placed that one! Amazing since this is the largest city in Ecuador with a population of 2.5 million. I wasn't planning on going out for any caching. Although I MIGHT just have to go out and place another of my caches - south of the equator.

Next week I am schedule for this exact same 4-day trip, so I may have "cached out" these areas with little/no more caching to be done. Hopefully I can get some local caching done this week while back home in Minnesota.

Back in Minnesota for a few days. Took my son to his swimming lessons at Lake Ann Park, in Chanhassen, MN. After some great time in the water, we took the entire geo-family out to find a few caches in this nice park. Back to my travels leaving Friday morning.
