Christoph Kolumbus

Christopher Columbus: born before 31 October 1451 – 20 May 1506 was an Italian explorer, navigator, and colonizer, born in the Republic of Genoa, in what is today northwestern Italy. Under the auspices of the Catholic Monarchs of Spain, he completed four voyages across the Atlantic Ocean that led to general European awareness of the American continents. Those voyages, and his efforts to establish permanent settlements on the island of Hispaniola, initiated the Spanish colonization of the New World.

Christoph Kolumbus: *  um 1451 in Genua; † 20. Mai 1506 in Valladolid war ein italienischer Seefahrer in spanischen Diensten, dem im Jahr 1492 die Entdeckung Amerikas gelang.

Christophe Colomb: né entre le 25 août et le 31 octobre 1451 à Gênes, dans la République de Gênes, et mort le 20 mai 1506 à Valladolid, en Espagne est un navigateur italien de la fin du xve et du début du xvie siècle au service des monarques catholiques espagnols.
