Mission 1: October 2003: After being dropped in Australia and being sat for 5 months without moving, this TB eventually travelled right round the world, from England to Australia, then across the pacific to the USA, Texas, Kentucky, Michigan, and Indiana, and on across the Atlantic to Germany, Austria, back to Germany and then to reach it's target in Devon, England. (Mission 1 COMPLETED in 1029 days). Time for a new mission!
Mission 2: February 2007: A United Airlines Boeing 777 landed in Los Angeles with Stuey and "Back from California" on board. The mission was no different to before.... after being dropped off in a convenient Los Angeles cache.... this little car TB had to get home! After just 7 months, the car made it, after a tour of California, then an express trip to England and a few hops home. Smoooooth travelling! (Mission 2 COMPLETED in 232 days). Time for another new mission!
Mission 3: October 2007: This was a repeat of the first mission, to travel to England from Australia... Back from Down Under again! Our very good friends The Hancock Clan took me to Australia when they emigrated. Since then the car travelled from New South Wales to the USA, visiting Georgia, Washington, visiting Groundspeak HQ, then on to California, Hawaii, Oregon, Utah and Wisconsin. After a flight to Europe, the car landed in Sweden, then had an express journey back home via Scotland! (3rd mission COMPLETED in 1035 days).
Mission 4: January 2012: Another repeat of mission 1, this time after being taken to Culburra Beach in NSW, Australia by my nephew Rhys. It has now moved via Canada and Germany to Austria, back to Germany again and then the Netherlands, Germany yet again and then to Belgium, Spain, back to the Netherlands, Belgium again, Morocco and now it's in France.
My home cache is Beer you can't drink in East Devon, England, UK.
After spending many years in France, it has finally gone missing, sadly. It was the original bug, the original tag and has been on the go since 2003 and has covered 124,924 miles! I suppose it may re-appear one day, fingers crossed!
