About This Item

Meoutdoors Walking Stick

This was the first diamond willow walking stick I made at the Becoming Outdoors Woman workshop at Lake Metigoshe, North Dakota. A lot of sanding, sanding, sanding went into this stick... after making the stick, I added some animal tracks with a woodburning tool and just recently took the tedious task of nailing medallions of all National and state parks, events, countries, and states I have visited in my years as a teacher, friend, and companion. Enjoy checking this stick out as much as I have had making it what it is..... Lots of stories behind these medallions.

Discovered this at GC6C8FY "GW14er “DGS Rocky Mountain High 14,115ft”" on the top of Pikes Peak. Hope you had as much fun up there as I did.
At the time, this was only a quick "discover", but reading the trackable writeup after the fact, just now, was very enjoyable. Happy travels!
