Current Goal

James started his journey at NASA Ames Research Center, Moffett Field, CA. He would like to visit caches at or near all the NASA centers (listed below). Like so many other astronaut hopefuls, James' ultimate mission is to ride into space and have his picture taken aboard a space shuttle. A ride in a high-altitute plane would be fun too! Please take and post pictures of his adventures, wherever they may be.

We found your little space guy while traveling in Yellowstone National Park; he was well hidden in a bush near one of the geysers; our sons found him while crouching down to enjoy the splashing of the water on the colorful rocks. They were delighted to have James join our traveling adventure. We had hoped to drop him off at another location in the USA before returning home to Canada, but we ran out of time. We are hoping to take him to Ottawa and drop him off there during our brief trip over there, but this won't happen for several weeks....is it okay to keep him until we leave at the end of October? If it's too long, let me know and we will send him on his merry way somewhere from home. If he can fly, we'll take some photos of him sitting in "his" seat on the plane! We didn't read all of the info about him until we were already home, so missed getting a photo of him with "Old Faithful"! Kind regards, Louise

Ms. CanadianRockies applied to become a Canadian astronaut last year. She made the first cut but got no farther. Too bad. She might have been able to grant this T.B.'s wish. Instead, we'll just have to move this little monkey along.
