This coin is traveling and for each 1000 miles it moves a dollar is donated in Karen Wynne's name to the Nurses Foundation.This is the beginning of a long progress to make people aware that nurses deserve and should be paid accordingly. If you truly care for this cause PLEASE KEEP IT MOVING :)
This coin was given to Karen as she has been , and still is a rock foundation in a work place of insanity. Karen runs a department that is the largest part of the retirement residence , takes care of an almost full house , helps with marketing , and helps where ever help is needed.
Karen's world is not just work , she is a young nanny of 2 baby boys and adores both Carter and Nicholas as you can find them closely nestled on her corkboard next to her desk. Karen doesn't take much time off and I know traveling is in her nature , when I heard of this coin I knew I had to get this in her dedication. I will keep her updated and tell her the stories that you and your caching friends endured. Who knows maybe she can whip them up into a bed time story or two.
Karen and I don't work all that close but I (like the residents) know where her door is .... I know anything I say to her will stay between us. I feel I am truly blessed as Karen is my ears if I have a problem , She means a lot to both myself and the rest of the management team. I would love to have a substancial amount of cache (pun intended) be donated in her name.
Remember to drop this in caches that are hot spots for travlers, it is way to light to be a paper weight so keep it moving, and it can also be dipped for miles. I hope this coin travels with swift feet and fills a lot of hearts. If you're a nurse yourself you know this is a worth cause. We wish this coin a long safe trip......Thank you all in advance.
