One Ring to find them

DE: Die Aufgabe ist, nach Mittelerde zu reisen. Gemeint sind damit natürlich die Orte, an denen die Filme "Der Herr der Ringe" und "Der Hobbit" gedreht wurden.

EN: The task is to travel to Middle Earth. This means the locations where the movies "The Lord of the Rings" and "The Hobbit" have been shot.

DE: Zu den schönsten Dingen in den Filmen "Der Herr der Ringe" und "Der Hobbit" gehören wohl ohne Zweifel die beindruckenden Landschaften von Neuseeland, welche zumeist die Kulissen der Filme bildeten. Da ein wichtiger Bestandteil der Filme die abenteuerliche Reise des Einen Ringes war, lassen wir dies nun die Geocaching Gemeinde selbst erleben.

Das Hauptziel ist es also, zu den Orten zu reisen, an denen die Filme gedreht wurden und den Ring samt Trackable mit diesen Landschaften als Hintergrund zu fotografieren. Das Bild könnt ihr dann auf der Seite des Travelbugs posten.

Da die Reise wohl recht lange dauern wird, freuen wir uns natürlich auch über einzelne Reisabschnitte, vor allem wenn diese was mit den Filmen zu tun haben, also wenn ihr zum Beispiel eine Replik von Stich und Glamdring zu Hause habt oder zufällig gerade als Hobbit verkleidet seid: Bild machen, hoch laden! :-)

Among the most beautiful things in the movies "The Lord of the Rings" and "The Hobbit" are the amazing landscapes of New Sealand, which provide in many cases the set of the movies.
As an important part of the movies was the travel of the One Ring we would like to give the Geocaching community the chance to experience this by themselves.

So the main goal is to travel to the locations where the movies have been made and make a picture of the landscape together with the Trackable and the One Ring. You can then upload the picture at the Travelbugs page.

As the journey will be a long one, we will be very happy if you send us pictures from parts of the travel, especially if they have something to do with the movies. So if you own a replica of Sting or Glamdring or you are coincidentally dressed as a Hobbit: Make a picture, send it! :-)
