Mothra is an ancient giant moth who is currently travelling the world visiting with (and protecting) average moths and other members of the family Geometridae. She tends to destroy major metropolitan areas (accidentally of course), so please keep an eye on her while she is in your care.

About This Item

MOTHRA

Mothra's history is not well known, but she first appeared in Japan in 1961. She is telepathic and is the guardian of a race of Pacific islanders called the Cosmos. Mothra maintains close telepathic contact with two small Cosmos fairies, and she regularly fights GODZILLA and other monsters to protect her people. Her behavior patterns and communication abilities indicate an above average level of intelligence, but little is really known about her motives. Probably just wants to find a giant lightbulb...
