This little TravelBug wants to see the world, but he also misses his home.
So please help him find his way back to Duisburg in Germany!
Hi,
I'm a travel bug, which my owner created as a petit point cross stitch picture.
First she developed the pattern from a prinout of the original Groundspeak travelbug picture. Then she stitched the picture as normal crossstitch, but the resulting cloth was really big, so there was no way to send it on its way.
Therefore she tried Petit Point as a smaller solution and at this step, I was created. To protect me on my journey, she wanted to laminate me, but I am too thick for the lamination machine and additionally, I'm indeed much smaller than my older brother, but still not small enough to fit into small cache boxes (as you can see in the picture gallery).
For these reasons, its not me in person, who sees the world, but a small picture of me.
But I'm nevertheless thankfull, if you bring this replacement back to me in Duisburg, because it is like a little brother to me.
