To make it cross country from the west coast to the east coast, and to take in a game at New Yankee Stadium
As a child, I spent countless summer nights watching baseball with my grandpa. He taught me everything I know about the game and was there to watch and help coach me from T-Ball all the way up through high school baseball and even winning the State Championship my senior year of high school. Growing up in Idaho, it was hard to be a dedicated fan of a baseball team on the East Coast, but my grandpa has a love for the game and for this despised team and it rubbed off on me as well.
Many years ago I made a trip to New York and was able to watch a game at Old Yankee Stadium between the Red Sox and the Yankees. The Yankees won that game in extra innings and I was thrilled to be there and share in that experience. Now, this little travel bug wants to make its way to the New Yankee Stadium and try and take in a game in the Big Apple. Please help get him cross country to his destination, and if possible, snap a photo of him either in or outside the stadium. Thanks!
