Current Goal

Firefighting Forever is sent out in memory of my father, a firefighter for nearly 30 years.   This little fire bug wants to visit fire stations around the country, and even the world.  Pictures of the stations and locations (any of streeet, city, state, or gps coords) are most appreciated.

About This Item

Firefighting Forever

This travel bug started its journey where I currently live, Charleston, South Carolina.  It's first station is 2/3 Engine House at 262 Meeting Street, Charleston (pictured).  I hope it will eventually make it's way to Wichita, Kansas, where my father served as a firefighter for nearly 30 years, by November 2019 - the 15th anniversary of his passing.  Thank you in advance for logging this travel bug and doubly so for any pictures or stories of the firefighter in your life.
