We found Bear in the "Just like a squirrel" (GCFBC1) geocache back in May. We knew he would one day want to be a Travel Bug, and now he is!
Bear is exuberant, playful, curious, funny and filled with civility and concern, and he wants to explore lots of wonderful places.

The last cacher to have Bear in the Big Blue House does not remember where he put the TB in 2004?... but we are still hoping our friend Bear will show up again someday...

found bear while in Columbia for a concert, brought him home, thinking he would like to visit here a while then head up toward Va when the weather clears in a few weeks.

I dropped off Bear in the Big blue house. I was going to drop him off in a cache in GA but it was too full. I did not want to hang on to him any longer so I placed him here in the Urban Jungle. I hope he enjoys a short stay. Bear in the Big Blue house did a good job at the convention talking to people about geocaching. However he also loved my cat.

I am taking Bear in the Big Blue House down to a convention at Jekyll Island this next weekend. We are doing a presentation there on geocaching and I needed a travel bug to help explain what one was. He will meet lots of new people and have his picture taken by the ocean (provided it does not rain all weekend).
Bear will be left in highly traffic cache in GA so he may be on his way.
