About This Item

Please do not keep me but keep me moving, I am an adventurous armadillo!!!  My name is Diego, named after the guide my owner had in Quito, Ecuador and after the famous animal rescuer from the cartoon.  Did you know that armadillos have been around for a very long time?  All armadillos originated in South America.  The largest armadillo (the giant armadillo) can grow up to 59 inches and get up to 130lbs!  The word armadillo means "little armored one" in Spanish.
