Melissa's
Four GeoMonkeys
are on the loose!
"Gus",
the Gorilla wants to go home to Melissa in
New Zealand
|
Mission: Get
back to Melissa in Auckland, New Zealand
via the Grand
Central Station Travel Bug Hotel in California
|
"Gus",
the Powerful Gorilla is one of 4 GeoMonkeys belonging to her owner, Melissa. He needs to reunite with his other
three brothers: Cheeky, Bayonet and Shambock in New Zealand and return to
Melissa, who misses them terribly.
Gus, the Gorilla, is the strongest and the protector of the
group. All the other monkeys in the jungle run when they see Gus .... but Gus
has a big heart. He is a gentle old fella - wouldn't hurt a fly. Gus loves to
hang out at his favorite watering hole and watch the female gorillas take a
bath! Very naughty, Gus! Melissa loves to put Gus on top of her pillow, as Gus
guards and protects all the other stuffed toys on her bed.
Gus loves children
and other fellow geocachers and wants to meet as many as he can before
he gets back to Melissa. Please take a photo of you with him and post it here
for Melissa to see.
IF
YOU OR A GEOCACHER YOU KNOW CAN TAKE GUS OVERSEAS - PLEASE HELP!!

TL;DR: We don't have the trackable (and feel sorry for you if it means it is still missing), but stumbled upon its discovery code.
The story: I discovered this trackable/coin when I cracked the cache "Msportis Coinlihaus der 2." and then was able to reverse-engineer some Coins/TBs of the owner Msporti as well. By pure chance / luck while testing out possibilities for this I also came across this TB/coin. We hope that it's okay that we discover it, if not, feel free to delete this log. TFTC/TFTT 😉

Grabbed on a flying visit to Kiwitonita literally on the way to the Airport.
Gus is in Auckland - we just need to find a way to get him back to Melissa.
You could ring Liz on 630-1206 to arrange it somehow.

While in Auckland we grabbed Gus to take him for a ride. It wasnt until we got home to Nelson that we discovered that his goal was to return to Auckland.
I guess he will just have to be on the road a bit longer🙂

Gus hadn't heard from his travel agent (The A.D.) about
return plans, so he checked into this hotel (following a
visit by his brother Shambock; hopefully he'll make the
final steps home to Melissa from here).
