Elephant Coin

Scientists have studied elephants very closely to learn about their really cool memories. Elephants have big brains that allow them to remember things (“elephants never forget”!) that help them to survive!

For example, scientists believe elephants use their good memories to recognize others, and remember who is a friend and who is an enemy. This helps them avoid contact with predators and anyone who is threatening.

Another thing elephants have been shown to use their good memories to do is remember locations where they can find food and water.

So be like an Elephant and don't forget to move this geocoin along.

We really enjoyed the time we spent with this very cool elephant coin. We let WorldServer grab it from us as we were passing through Merrill today, as we knew she could take it for a nice long trip. Thanks for sharing it with us - LOVE elephants, hope you enjoyed the pics we took while we had it.

This cache is the closest place to where the elephants in our home live (not live ones, but mementos of the live ones we've been lucky enough to see on our travels).
