Current Goal

The Race is ON!! Wow Chiquita has been on one heck of an adventure. Her miles far out number Bandits. I knew she could do it. Now the race is ON to see who can meet up with the family first. We are hoping she is on her way back to Vancouver Island and eventually to a geocache near Port Alberni. Hurry Chiquita!

Help Chiquita log more miles than Her "big brother" Bandit ( travel bug #209 525)
They both began their jouneys in Port Alberni. British Columbia in caches created by us and our children about 7 1/2 miles apart. We want to see who travels more miles and who visits more caches. It will be interesting to see if it will be the same bug. We hope you will take Chiquita's picture with any friends she meets along the way especially other canine types.

😁 After a LOOOOONG adventure that lasted nearly two and a half years Chiquita's Challenge finally made it HOME. Right back to the cache she began in. When we read she had made it back we ran right out and picked her up. THANK YOU to everyone who helped her along the way. She went many wonderful places but is glad to be back with her family.

I was heading a couple of kilometers down the road, so when I saw this bug I thought I might as well move it a tiny bit along its way. Wish I could have taken it all to the way to Port Alberni, but hopefully someone will pick it up from the cache by the highway.
