To commemorate milestone caches.
gpsfun is the cache reviewer for Rhode Island and South Carolina. For 10 years, gpsfun has volunteered his time to review cache pages for the betterment of the game. Groundspeak recently awarded gpsfun with several of his very own geocoins for 10 years of service. gpsfun was kind enough to share one of these coins with me.
It took me several weeks to decide what I wanted to do with this coin. It certainly wasn't going to go off into circulation! As this coin commemorates gpsfun's reviewing milestone, I've decided to use this coin to commemorate caching milestones. This coin will be dipped in any of my personal milestone caches, past and present. In addition, I will dip this coin in caches where I am with a cacher who makes a milestone. Finally, other cachers who make a milestone with e by their side are welcome to discover this coin.
Thanks gpsfun for all your hard work. Your work is very much appreciated here in RI, as I'm sure it is in South Carolina. Here's to another 10 years!
