Current Goal

Castor would like to travel throughout the UK until the end of 2006. From January 2007, he would like to travel the rest of Europe.

Southern Ontario GeoCoin - Castor


This GeoCoin has been specially released for the benefit of GeoCachers in the UK and Europe. We understand that these coins are often perceived as collectable, but please do not keep it as it spoils it for other cachers.

The rules of the game are up to the individual, but we feel swapping tracking numbers by email to get the logo isn't really part of caching, so we'd prefer it if you'd only log our coins if you've actually seen them in person.

The name of this coin reflects the beaver featured on it, which is the only member of the the family Castoridae, castor. Castor is greek for beaver and according to Greek Mythology is twin to Pollux, and they both accompanied Jason on the Argo.
