Current Goal

This coin is made by PHDCOIN.CA from Halifax, NS, Canada. I won this coin as part of the prize package for being the frist to fill all 100 blocks in the 2012/2013 Atlantic Battle Cache Contest. It is a most striking coin as you can see. I will be holding on to the coin and circulating a STUNT coin in it's stead. I have lost too many beautiful and expensive Geocoins to the wilds of the geocaching world, so it is STUNT coins from now on. Please, help this STUNT coin see the world one cache at a time. Thanks.... Ken.....

About This Item

DNA Geocoin

Adenine, thymine, cytosine and guanine: These are the nucleobases, or just plain bases of DNA that in pairs called nucleotides carry the genetic code of life. There are four of them, right?

Not so fast! There is a fifth base! One that I like to call GEOCACHINE.

If present, traits such as perseverance, puzzle solving, curiosity, obstinacy, and a predilection for technological devices are usually dominant. These may manifest as a desire to examine surroundings in minute detail (moving rocks and logs; lifting lampskirts; poking into hedgerows), a sudden urge to plunge through thickets and thorns without regard to personal comfort (or thought of searching for a nearby path), and a desire to surround oneself with GPS enabled devices at all times.

In short, Geocaching is in our Genes!
