About This Item

This Travel Bug is a memorial to our beloved dog, Boots, who died in September of 2003 at the age of 13. Winky Winky was her nickname and she enjoyed running about in the tall grass. As she got older, she helped my Mom create a friendly home for foster dogs who had been abandonned or abused.

    I grabbed Winky on a sunny day in San Francisco. I'm taking it down to San Diego with me to meet my geocaching dogs. After that, I'll be taking Winky on a real adventure across the Pacific. Stay tuned.
