Deux petites figurines de Bécassine vont bientôt partir du Bois des Espeisses
( Nîmes, département du Gard ).
L'une possède un parapluie ouvert tandis que l'autre tient sa valise à la main et son parapluie fermé
sous le bras.
Laquelle des deux Bécassine sera la plus rapide?
Leur mission est de rejoindre le plus vite possible la cache Les Conti (GC37587) qui se trouve à Clairoix,
tout près de Compiègne dans le département de l'Oise.
Celle qui arrivera la première aura comme nouvelle mission de retourner jusqu’à son point de départ où son propriétaire (ALEBERT) la récupérera pour la conserver.
La deuxième Bécassine quand son arrivée à la cache Les Conti aura été enregistrée deviendra la propriété du prochain géocacheur qui la découvrira.
Mais pourquoi cette cache et pas une autre ? Pourquoi ce grand voyage à Clairoix ?
Parce que Bécassine est née le 2 février 1905 sous le pinceau du dessinateur Emile Joseph Porphyre PINCHON à Clairoix.
Pinchon était illustrateur de revues et il a créé de nombreux personnages. Il est né le 17 avril 1871 à Amiens et décédé le 20 juin 1953 à Paris.
On ne connaît pas ses dernières paroles mais peut-être pensa-t-il que si lui avait fini sa route, la petite bécassine n’allait pas s’arrêter de sitôt.
La preuve, grâce au Géocaching, elle court encore cette jeune centenaire.

Two small figurines of Bécassine are soon going to leave the Wood of Espeisses (Nîmes, department of the Gard).
The One has an open umbrella whereas the other holds a suitcase in its hand and a closed umbrella under under its arm.
Which one will be the fastest?
Their mission is to reach as fast as possible the hiding place Les Conti (GC37587) which is to Clairoix, very close to Compiègne in the department of the Oise.
The one who will the first will have as a new mission to go back to its starting point where its owner (ALEBERT) will get it back to keep it.
The second Bécassine when its arrival to the hiding place Les Conti will have been recorded will become the property of the next géocacheur which will discover it.
But why this hiding place and not another one? Why this great journey to Clairoix?
Because Bécassine was born on February 2nd, 1905 under the brush of the draftsman Emile Joseph Porphyre PINCHON to Clairoix.
Pinchon was an illustrator of magazines and he created many characters. He was born on April 17th, 1871 in Amiens and died on June 20th, 1953 in Paris.
We do not know his last words but maybe he thought that, if his road was finished, the small Bécassine was not going to stop anytime soon.
The proof, thanks to Géocaching, is that it stil runs, this young centenarian.
