Hey Nonny Nonny!

this little chappie was created in my lovely Oxfordshire Village of Stoke Lyne near Bicester and just wants to travel from village to village celebrating all thats great about this fine old country of ours and try and build up a pictoral history as it goes.

This is a fantastic place and piece of Industrial archaeology near Settle North Yorkshire. It produced lime for agriculture and industry for about 70 years in a continuous process around a loop some 250 metres long.

Stainforth Bridge is an old packhorse bridge dating from the 17th Century. It is owned by the National Trust.
