We had a fun time finding our way onto this island in the Potomac river to seek the treasure. The Potomac forms the border between Maryland and Virginia at this point (just a little bit upriver, it forms the border between Maryland and West Virgina). Curiously, Maryland owns all the territory up to the Virginia shoreline, so all the islands are in Maryland, so all of the islands are in Maryland. Something few but geocachers would know!
