    I picked up the geocoin from my own cache today. I went out to see how the cache survived the prescribed-ecological burn. It did well, as expected, although the fire encompassed the area. It probably helped that it wasn't hidden under a stick pile or under anything combustible.

    Very cool coin... I will move it along shortly.

    • Prescribed Ecological Burn A prescribed Ecological Burn is used to eliminate invasive species such as buckthorn, and allows oaks and hickories to thrive. This picture was taken near the cache and use to be knee deep in branches.
