Blue Hens Take Europe originates from the University of Delaware's study abroad trip to Bochum, Germany in 2016. On this trip, 20 students stayed in Bochum to learn materials science and German history. From there, they traveled to Paris, Normandy, Geneva, Berlin, Amsterdam, Brussels, Venice, and Milan to explore European culture. This once-in-a-lifetime experience is something we will never forget and is why we want "Blue Hens Take Europe" to travel the globe and interact with new people and places so our world becomes that much smaller and interconnected. Blue Hens Take Europe starts its journey at the University of Delaware!
