Current Goal

The mission of THE Cache-Mobile is to help Enduroking, Mrs. Enduroking, and Alliecat1 track down elusive caches!! Since not all caches are reachable by the Goldwing, we needed something that could get us there, so here it is!!

About This Item

THE Cache-Mobile

THE Cache-Mobile is a 2007 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited "X" 4-door. We were at our first cache with it at approximately 20 minutes after taking delivery of the Jeep in Abilene TX, along with fellow members of GAGA, the "3defaus"!! We are quite proud of THE Cache-Mobile and offer it up for discovery to any Cachers that see it at events, gatherings, and on the trail cacheing. When THE Cache-Mobile is not cacheing, it will be "parked" at its home cache (Alliecat #1) waiting to hit the trail once again! So, if you ever actually "see" this travel bug "in" a cache, we have a problem....

We got the call at about 4:00 pm from Alliecat1 asking if we were home. I said, "No, but we are just finishing up our last cache of the day." Allie then said that they were in town and I knew EXACTLY why they were in Abilene today... her daddy, Enduroking, had acquired a BRAND NEW Cache Mobile! As much as she didn't want to say yes, the smiling I could "hear" in her voice gave it away.

Since we were no where near home, we met them near the dealership and we checked out the new CMTB. It is NICE! After "Oooh-ing” and “Ahhh-ing” for a while, I mentioned that they could hit their first cache a mere 400 feet from where we were at the moment. We headed over and that is what they did.

After finding the cache, affixing the mandatory "GAGA" & "GPS" decals to the rear window, and some more friendly chatter, it was time for Enduroking, Alliecat1 & the new CMTB to head to it's new home in Odessa.

Rex, congratulations on your awesome new Cache Mobile. We look forward to seeing it in action and following it's journey.
