Hi. I am Sophie the Kiwi II. My predecessor Sophie the Kiwi I got lost on her travels. I am a kiwi that began my journey in Oxford in the United Kingdom. My first goal was to move from cache to cache to get to a place on the other side of the world called Invercargill in New Zealand. I managed to get as far as Queenstown, New Zealand, before heading away again, but given I managed to see my beautiful home country I am pretty happy. I now have a new goal. My sister, Olivia the Fox, was released at the start of 2016 and I wanted to race her around commonwealth countries. However, Olivia also seems to have got lost on her travels and so I now have a new goal.
NEW MISSION (3rd Jan 2018): My owner sudsyNZ has recently moved from England to Hobart, Tasmania. They would really love to see me again. Can you help me get to Tasmania???
I am a kiwi, a small round flightless bird with a long beak and I am only found in New Zealand. I am an endangered species and I lay the largest egg in relation to my body size compared to any other species of bird in the world. I am the national symbol of New Zealand. Even though I am a kiwi, I started my journey in Oxford, United Kingdom.
I am named after the first daughter of SudsyNZ (my owner); my sister Olivia the Fox, was named after SudsyNZ’s second daughter. My younger sister and I are both British born Kiwi’s. My owners have recently moved to Hobart, Tasmania and I would love to see them again. Please help me get to Tasmania.
