To honor someone who made the ultimate sacrifice and never made it home.
Private Augustine L. Arellanes, Company B of the 307th Airborne Engineer Battalion was killed in action April 10,1945 in Germany. He is buried at the American Cemetery of Margraten in the Netherlands (Plot B, Row 15, Grave 22).
I served in Company B of the 307th Airborne Engineer Battalion, but I was fortunate enough to make it home. I would like to honor those that made the ultimate sacrifice and specifically, Private Augustine L. Arellanes through this travel bug.
