Often called the red headed step child of AFSOC we were once named the 16th MXS. I have been with the squadron almost 7 years, was here when we underwent a name change from the 16th MXS to the 1 SOMXS and have thorougly enjoyed my time. I've been to some great and some not so great places and all the while had this coin with me. I've had the privelage of serving as a Dedicated Crew Chief on numerous planes and I, along with some friends, were lucky enough to have a news story published about us http://www.hurlburt.af.mil/News/ArticleDisplay/tabid/136/Article/204896/dedication-chief-among-1st-somxs-crew.aspx. There is no end destination for this bug, I just want it to continue its journey around the world stopping for pictures along the way.
