Having seen his form of government crumble over the last few decades, Lenin would like to take his mind off of past failures and see the sights of America and Europe. Please keep his watch wound; he prefers Moscow Standard Time, but feel free to set him to your local time.
Vladimir Illytch Ulyanov -- better known to the world as Lenin -- is a writer, a statesman and the father of modern communism. Lenin is especially fond of factories, mines and farms -- he can talk for hours to the workers about the dictatorship of the proletariat and the struggle against the industrial bourgeoisie. Although his views may differ from yours, please be tolerant; Lenin sincerely believes his way is best for the masses. If you are a capitalist, be sure to keep an eye on Lenin -- he will free your workers if you're not careful.

I found the plastic container and info but not the TB itself. In the loogbook of PRAMIDA cache was no record about its retrieval. I think it has been stolen :-(.

Lenin TB is not complete, I guess. The watch is not there and its plastic container is just empty, only a text about TB goal is in there.

Lenin has travelled round Europe with me and has actually got closer to Russia than this - in fact he was in my backpack when I briefly entered Ukraine (for 10 minutes - just to say I had done so) - but no caches there. I also didn't want to leave him in a country (such as Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary) that had been through difficult times as a result of VIU's philosophy. Slovenia had escaped the worst of those I think so I thought this was a good spot to leave him. There wasn't enough room in the cache container but since he has his own container and I had put in in a Ziploc bag I felt it was safe to leave him beside the actual cache container.

While awaiting transportation to a location nearer to his Russian home, Lenin got a little bit closer by acting as a prop in the YDAPA (www.YDAPA.com) production of "The Sound of Music" and pretending he was in Austria.
Here is a photo of "Franz" (the butler) backstage with "Lenin".
We'll try to get some "on stage" pictures uploaded shortly with Y.G. (who was Kurt, one of the von Trapp children, in the production).
