Starting off our 2013-2014 Girl Scout year in the Junior level, there is a badge that the girls can earn called "Geocacher". As a lover of geocaching with my family, this is a great way to pass along mine and my coleader's passion for this great "treasure hunt" adventure! The girls each made a SWAP (Special Whatchamacallits Affectinately Pinned) which is a tradition in Girl Scouts that represent a memory of a special event that you pass along to another Girl Scout to promote friendship. Our eleven girls are passing on their friendship to each of you who enjoy this activity with their family and friends!
The goal of our travel bug is not in a destination, but to remind all of you that Geocaching is more that a game, it is a way to bring family and friends together and enjoy places that they may never know have existed.
Our Troop 1377 will be watching our bug travel and see its many adventures!! Thank you our fellow geocachers!
