About This Item

I grew up in New Ulm, was married in New Ulm and still visit my parents frequently, which allows us to pick up some Chimney Sweep, Firebrick or other great beers made by Schells.  They were founded in 1860 and are the oldest and largest brewery in Minnesota, after aquiring the Grain Belt brand.  They are also the 2nd oldest family owned brewery in the US.

Congratulations on the anniversary! Neat idea for a travel bug collection. I hope yours go a long ways. Yes, we have visited Schell's on a camping trip to New Ulm a couple of years ago. We had a grand time on the tour and enjoyed watching the peacocks. Then we wandered around town trying to find a sports bar to watch University of North Dakota hockey team win the NCAA championship. A great little weekend trip it was. My favorite is Nordeast.
