About This Item

I have always had the desire to visit every county seat in the U.S. Since I can’t do that I thought it might be fun to send this travel bug out on an adventure to visit every county seat that it can get to.

1. Take this bug to a county seat.

2. Take a photo of the bug with a sign that indicates which county seat it is visiting and maybe a picture or two of a courthouse or other county building.

3. Include coordinates for your log entry

4. Upload the picture(s) to the website when you log your entry (PLEASE:: DO NOT REVEAL SERIAL # OF BILL OR TAG IN PHOTOS OR TEXT)

5. Go to wheresgeorge.com and record the serial number and series of the bill embedded with the bug.

6. VISIT www.bloodbot.com and click on the travel bug link to see where my travel bugs have been.

    This is the biggest travel bug I have found. Scared the wife won't let him in the house.

    County George was left in Mayville, NY which is the county seat of Chautauqua County. This county is the western most in New York State. This is also a brand new site he was left at. There is a lot of construction going on there and it is difficult to get anywhere near a sign. I have included a picture of the county buildings.

    I picked up Monumental George last year and it's been traveling. I have been watching Country George since then. I can't believe no one has taken it to the count seat there. I picked it up and will be taking pictures of it at the county seat in Erie, Pa. Then it will be placed in the North East Travel Bug Hotel on Interstate 90 to continue it's trip.
