Current Goal

Virtual cache travel bug only. Goal is to visit as many virtual caches and collect as many keychains as it can, before returning home!!

About This Item

The idea here is to hide the travel bug somewhere close to a virtual cache. When you have found him, you must attach a keychain of some sort, and move him to another virtual cache. At some point he will have collected a lot of keychains, and he may be too difficult to hide. At this point, email me and I will send you the postage to ship him home where he can start all over again. When hiding him, you must hide him somewhere in the vicinity of a virtual cache and then leave clues to his exact location. Do not leave coordinates for him, use your imagination. (Use clues similar to those used in letterboxing, such as, paces(One left and one right step is a pace)degrees, directions, and or riddles and other such clues.

Coincidentally seen on the home page of the TB while searching for another TB
I hope that´s ok? else just delete my log please - thank you anyway 🙂
Sadly it seems that the TB is lost, since it haven´t moved for more than 19 years 😮

Retrieve It from a Cache 4/18/2005 mountaineerboy retrieved it from INDY DIVER'S 1000TH CACHE Indiana   Visit Log

Found MASSIVE keychain with Travel Bug.
The Michigan Lottery game was pretty fun!!

Will move it along to my next cache!

We had looked at several virtuals but couldn't find a spot that we felt would be good (and safe) for this TB. We decided rather than keep holding it, we placed it in a regular cache with hopes that the next person will be able to find a virtual home for it.

Decided to try and rescue this bug since it had been in this virtual cache for 3 months or so. K found the "unknowns" and J found the "behind". Good clue. Will drop it off the next time we get close to a virtual with some hiding room.

I love this spot. It was also a very peaceful morning today when I arrived. I left a TB behind. It had to be dropped at a virtual cache and technically this could be considered virtual. I have always found the unknown soldiers to be interesting. Obviously, they should earn the medal of honor, but I guess it gets left behind.

Those were some awesome clues, very fun. Old 92 was a good spot, but a couple of Crown Hill car drove by while I was standing there. Thought they might stop and ask what I was doing, but I got away unnoticed. I'll be taking it somewhere in a couple weeks, sorry for the length of time, but it will be about 200 miles from here. 🤡

From the Bears of Blue River, Little Orphan Annie too, Beck-N-Call has come to roost not far from you.

You'll move toward the city by Fortune, Schwitzer, Townstead and Payne, keep moving past Eiteljorg, the museum's his fame.

I find it fitting that the boy and the beast, keep a watchful eye, they do... they know I placed Beck-N-Call perched upon old 92.

Not quite JWR... Oh well, Happy Hunting.

PS. Sorry about the quality of the picture... My camera is in the shop... I took the picture with a Zire 71.

I knew right where it was from the clue... Snagged it after a Pike Soccer game. Beck*N*Call will turn up again real soon.

By the way... we won 3 to 1.

OK, we couldn't find a worthy Virtual Cache, so hopefully a Mystery Cache will work just as well. To find this TB... from the front of this building, go to the outside deposit boxes. Then travel approximately four steps to the north(ish) and look in the area at the bottom of the pillar.

We still have Beck*N*Call in our grasp. We're having a real problem setting it near a virtual cache. We may have to settle for another regular one. We'll be back in touch soon.
