Current Goal

Boone is loving his travels...as he moves around we’d like to see if he can somehow hitchhike his way back to Pennsylvania where he started! Specifically somewhere in the vicinity of Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, at some point—to see the little boy who sent him off (age 8 now) and to meet that boy’s little brother.

About This Item

Boone says goodbye to his horse and cattle.

In the 1960s, Boone was a lonesome cowboy with a red bandanna round his neck, hands on hips at the edge of a big model railroad. Back then, the only thing that moved was the train. Now Boone's color has faded, and the model railroad's gone, but Boone has wanderlust, and is ready, in his retirement, to get moving. The four-year-old grandson of Boone's original owner wants to watch Boone travel. Please take his picture in some of the spots he visits, show him wrangling a stop sign, riding on a real train, or photograph him with some of the friends he makes along the way. Your pictures and log entries will help our son learn about places he might someday see himself. Please take good care of Boone, and try to put him in caches safe from Muggles. He will be happy wherever he goes. Thanks for helping him go!

A group of Canadian cachers, mostly from the Toronto area, went on an 11-day “Swedding to the Oldies – the Red Rocks” target caching adventure, from June 7 to 17, 2019. We drove over 4,000 kilometres (2,500 miles) exploring Utah from top to bottom, plus parts of Idaho, Wyoming & Arizona.

Along the way we found, discovered, retrieved, dropped and moved many TBs.
This was one of them.
Thanks for putting this TB out there for us to discover.

Greetings from Ontario, Canada.
