Current Goal

Chain Lightning rides again! Chain Lightning Rides Again's goal is to travel from cache to cache as quickly as possible. I don't care where the travel bug goes -- I just want it to keep moving fast. Please don't hold the bug longer than two weeks.

About This Item

Chain Lightning Rides Again!

After my original Chain Lightning travel bug's feeble performance (I dropped it in a cache, it was picked up and dropped in another cache, and that cache and my TB were promply muggled), I decided to give it another try. I had some left over bike chain, so I made a few more TBs.

The second TB did worse than the first one. It was taken from the first cache I placed it in and never logged a single mile. It's been a year now so I'm sending out another one. Hopefully the third time's the charm and this one will get to travel some.

This travel bug is made from some links off the old, worn out chain I took off of my Honda CBR900RR sport bike. The bike likes to move fast and so does this travel bug!

Chain Lightning Rides Again's owner (Model Citizen) is an adventure-loving adrenaline-junkie who enjoys riding sport bikes (crotch rockets), skydiving, racing cars on road course tracks, and racing motorcycles on tracks.

During the bug's travels it would be great if it could go motorcycle riding (any type of motorcycle, any type of riding). Please post your motorcycling adventures on this web page. Post pictures too if you can!

Blue skies and happy caching!

Chain Lightning, honored to carry you on a brief adventure before sending you on your lightning way! We are definitely a family full of motorcycle history. Love the Honda CBR chain links, what a cool and crafty idea, we couldn't resist taking it from the TB hotel. We will have you rolling on soon!
