Henry Plummer was the sheriff of Bannack and Virginia City during the first gold rush in Montana. He was also the leader of a bandit gang who called themselves "The Innocents". After almost two years of murder and robbery, he was hanged by vigilantes on January 10th, 1864. Our oldest daughter loves to visit Bannack, and hear the story of Henry Plummer, so she asked that her travel bug be something related to him. Thus we chose this toy pistol to travel around to other ghost towns and historical sites around the country. Thanks for helping it along the way.
