Current Goal

The purpose of this coin is to get cachers to share their stories with each other through this coin. It would be truly wishfull thinking if this unique coin could follow it's namesake and make it's way up and down the Appalachian trail from geocache to geocache. If you stop and think for a second on how cool this idea is, and how great America is, that only in free countries, could something like this truly happen. We may take it for granted but, we actually live in an amazing country, in an age that would have astounded a generation ago. God bless the free world. Tell what you did with this coin? ...........And how cool is that!

I found this Appalachian trail geocoin close to home in Georgia. We were planing a vacation North so I thought it would be neat if we could take it from Georgia to Maine. This is somthing I have always wanted to and only made a few short hikes along the Appalachian Trail, so when I got as close as I could I dropped off the Geocoin after having my picture made as close to the end of the trail as I could get and then went and placed it in another cache. See Photo.
