Abe

This is one of the eagles of Conowingo Md where eagles fly once again. There are about 250 pair along the Susquehanna river near the head of the Chesapeake Bay.

Abe is now aboard a motorhome, which will be in Florida for another 2 weeks or so. Then, moving North for Michigan. Will find a good drop along the way, or maybe make the whole trip with some stops along the way....yeah....that sounds like a good idea.

Abe has flown to Sanibel, Florida, joining the "Dairy Queen" pair of Bald Eagles who nest in an Australian Pine there yearly.

Alllll-righty-then... it seems this bird needs a GPSr, talk about off course from the git-go.
Will take Abe to a new state in a couple of weeks. Hopefully after resting up here on Haystack Mountain before the trip south, he'll get his bearings back.

Found this beauty in Cumberland, MD; will log it in and out of the cache where I found it for the miles.
