Visited 10/2/2012 tokyotako took it to Connecticut Delorme Challenge Connecticut - 630.33 miles  Visit Log

Traveling to central Connecticut, my Appalachian Trail Geocoin was along for my latest Milestone: #10,000. A great celebration in the New England woods just as the leaves are beginning to turn.

Visited 7/12/2012 tokyotako took it to Run for the Border North Carolina - 598.88 miles  Visit Log

What a nice traditional Virtual Cache to log as a personal semi-Milestone (#9,500). It's at the right angle corner of South Carolina and North Carolina - an old stone marker placed here in 1813. There's even a more recent Benchmark attached to the top of the stone monument. My Appalachian Trail Geocoin enjoyed visiting here.

Visited 5/11/2012 tokyotako took it to Stennis Launch Pad Mississippi - 733.06 miles  Visit Log

My Appalachian Trail Geocoin came along for the first cache found by tokyotako in the state of MISSISSIPPI. This is a Major Milestone as it completes the goal of finding a cache in all of the lower 48 states (plus the District of Columbia). Yeah, the last bottle of Dogfish 60 Minute IPA was opened on this occasion.

Visited 5/10/2012 tokyotako took it to DeLorme Challenges, Champions, States and Owners Louisiana - 491.99 miles  Visit Log

LOUISIANA can now be checked off the "To Do" list. A fine cache in the Welcome Center placed by my good Geo-buddy, Blue Blazes (the evil creator of all those fun and demanding Interstate Highway Challenges). Naturally, my Appalachian Trail Geocoin was along for the festivities on a hot and humid south Louisiana afternoon.

Visited 5/8/2012 tokyotako took it to Terrell County Del Norte Texas - 319.71 miles  Visit Log

My Appalachian Trail Geocoin ventured into the bowels of Terrell County, Texas to enjoy the celebration of tokyotako's Milestone cache: #9,000. This location is about as desolate as you can find. Great fun.

Visited 5/4/2012 tokyotako took it to NM state line (East) New Mexico - 466.3 miles  Visit Log

1,277 miles from home and my Appalachian Trail Geocoin joins the tako at his first find in NEW MEXICO - the Land of Enchantment. Although the location of this borderline cache was anything but enchanting. It's on a part of the historic Route 66 (the Mother Road) and the tiny settlement that was here is now abandonded tourist courts (precursors of motels), closed gas stations, empty diners, and small homes (now in varying states of dilapidation).

Visited 5/1/2012 tokyotako took it to Castle By the Dam Oklahoma - 842.37 miles  Visit Log

First cache found in OKLAHOMA! A great location just below a hydro electric dam on the Arkansas River.

Visited 3/23/2012 tokyotako took it to PGBC North Carolina - 161.11 miles  Visit Log

A new semi-Milestone cache! #8,500. One very nice placement in a church parking lot of a small central North Carolina town I'd not Geocached in previously. Of course, my personal Appalachian Trail geocoin came along for the event.

Visited 2/5/2012 tokyotako took it to The Bomb Crater South Carolina - 200.53 miles  Visit Log

How time flies when we're having fun! My Appalachian Trail Geocoin came along for Milestone find #8,000. And this one is a real dandy! With great justification, this cache ranks among the Top Ten favorites in South Carolina. A fun cache to get to and to log.
