About This Item

Ms-Pacman-geocoin

The Ms. Pacman geocoins were minted in 2013 by RetiredGuy and are being released throughout the world.

In 1981, the most successful video game in the history of North America was designed by Doug Macrae, Kevin Curran, Steve Golson, Mike Horowitz, Chris Rode, and John Tylko who had started up General Computer earlier that year. The game went on to be licensed to Bally / Midway for production starting in 1982 and later to Namco of Japan.

A very successful Atari 2600 version of the game was designed by Doug Macrae, Josh Littlefield, Glenn Parker, and Mark Ackerman. That was shortly followed by the 5200 version designed by Allen Wells and Steve Syzmanski and the 7800 version by Allen Wells and Bruce Burns.

Retrieve It from a Cache 5/4/2013 Dr.MORO retrieved it from WWFM X - Boston/Cambridge, MA Massachusetts   Visit Log

Domo!!! (= Howdy! in Japanese) Picked this one up with many other leftover TBs from my Event Cache WWFM X - Boston/Cambridge, MA http://coord.info/GC45DDC . Thanks for sharing, my great Geo-friend RetiredGuy! One of 7 I picked up today, plus one more http://coord.info/TB5N00B as a Birthday present for me. Awesome! And Thanks again! FYI, even for TBs, I try to LOG EVERY SINGLE CACHE found & revisited as I go, not just the first pick-up and the last drop-off. Plan to bring along & 'dip/visit' for a while until I find a nice & appropriate cache to drop in. Enjoy a picture here, although they all look the same. I'll try to post more pictures, whenever possible. Off to the next! 🙂
