Current Goal

It turns out the Mayans merely ran out of room on their calendar, otherwise you wouldn't be here reading about this 12/12/12 coin.

I'd like to see this coin make its way to caches near actual historical places with meaningful dates. Please log in the historical significance of the location and the date of the event if possible.

About This Item

This Coin was given to me on 5/5/13 at my first CITO event at Reservoir Park in New Milford, CT.

To start off the Logs right, here is the brief history of the location where I received the coin: The reservoir was built in the early 1970s. In 2006 a nice park was established around the inactive reservoir.  Nothing of any other historical significance ever happened here, EVER! I think someone can post a more interesting location than this one.  Please do.
