After being in use for 154 years, production of the penny in Canada stopped in May of 2012. February 14, 2013 marked the end of the circulation of the penny in Canada.

These geocoins commemorate the departure of the penny.

We have two; one for collection, and one for travelling. This is our travelling one. Please keep it moving and take pictures of where you find it!
