@ the USCGA JULY Meet and Eat and Greet. My 100th find was found while looking for caches that are part of the Discovering Fountain Inn series. The find - The Firehouse Challenge Series CBFDJ. It was an easy Park and Grab :)

Discovered at the July USCGA Meet & Greet & Eat at Paris Mountain State Park.

My 100th find is a cache called "Bamboo Tube". As you may expect, it was a section of bamboo that was hollowed out allowing for a log and small items to be placed in it. The cache was so well made that I had been to the location SIX times before finding it. When I found it, it has been right in front of me the whole time but was so well made it blended in exactly with its surroundings.

Thanks for sharing this one and allowing me to stroll down memory lane.

Discovered at the USCGA July meet & greet.

I hit cache #100 on 10/6/10, roughly 2 months & 1 week after I got into caching. It was multicache GC11HHT in Clarkesville, GA (between Toccoa and Helen). It took me 2 days because I messed up one of the stages, so I had to go back and fix it, but then finding the cache was easy once I got the right numbers. :)

Discovered at July Picnic. Our 100th find was special to us as it was our very first Earthcache. It was The Boiling Spings Earthcache and it was dark and we had never seen this place before or knew it existed. It was fun gathering the info needed and logging our find and emailing our findings.

I found my 100th find on June 3, 2013.
The day started after a real bad night of thunderstorms. I hiked a mud trail about 1/4 mile to find a newly posted cache. I got to the cache to find I had my very first FTF. I found two more caches in that park and come home to log them. I was at 98 finds; I was going for it. I stopped by an easy cache on the way (99) and went out in search of GC495K1. The cache was part of a real good GoeFriend's (Tigersearch) Phobia Series. The caches he make are very impressive and this one looked like a giant snake in the leaves. Yes, I have that phobia, but I took a deep breath and grabbed it. Signed the log and find #100. What a great day.
