"Homecoming" Compass Rose Geocoin

The mission of my "Homecoming" geocoin is all in the name: to come home. I was born and raised a Southern Belle in Texas, but now I hang my hat in New Hampshire with my Yankee husband, Vinny. (he says he had to import the good stuff) This is my first geocoin, and I have activated it before heading out on a 3-week personal trip to Texas on Oct. 23rd, 2013. In a lot of ways, this trip is a homecoming, as I will be staying with my parents in Crosby, TX where I spent the better part of my childhood. I intend to place this geocoin in the nearest available cache from their house in the neighborhood. But this is not my home anymore.

While I'm in Texas, I know I will miss my hubby, my home, pets, and life in general in NH, and I will look forward to my true homecoming. I know it's only three weeks, but I'm a big baby and it will feel like three years to me. If you find this Geocoin, please bring it northeast a little or a lot. The mission is for "Homecoming" to find it's way into a cache in Gilsum, New Hampshire where we live. It's a tiny village of roughly 800 residents in the Monadnock Region (southwestern portion) of the state. There are several caches currently in Gilsum that are large enough to hold "Homecoming" and I reccomend Bear Den Cliffs, as it is a favorite and our property is visible from the cliff view. We always appreciate an excuse to hike there. But any appropriate size cache in Gilsum will do!
