Current Goal

Jewelbug is a beautiful jewel bug from Costa Rica! She is very pretty and encased in her own plastic travelling kennel! Jewel has several boyfriends all over the world and she would really love to visit them! (She's been emailing them and now it's time to meet them all!) Jewel would first like to go to Europe, then Asia, then South America and even the South Pacific!

About This Item

Jewel isn't particular about where she goes, and in what order she goes there, but she does have to get back to Rochester in time for a bug reunion in October '04. Please make sure to take pictures of Jewel along the way (but get her "good" side, she's a bit vain.) so she has pictures of her travels to show at the bug reunion! Return her to any cache within 20 miles of zip code 55906 and Team Swedishfish will make sure she gets to her party in time! She's heading out on her travels with Weevilbug, but having a guy around might hinder her adventures as a single gal. So feel free to send her off on her own! Team Swedishfish.

Found the Jewelbug today in Hampstead Heath, London. As it is cold here during winter it might be a good idea to bring this guy into warmer terrain. Will take him to Singapore by the end of the month. Has this bug a final destination. The original log is quite old and it might come the time to retire (Team swedishfish17 ?!?)
