Your TB sends greetings from the historic town of Henderson, Kentucky located on the bank of the Ohio River. Henderson is known as the home of John James Audubon the famed ornithologist who lived and ran a small mill here. It is the kind of classic Midwestern town filled with nice people who generally open a conversation by asking about the welfare of your family like “Hey Hoosier Guy, how’s your mom getting along?” High school basketball games and church socials are big events and every Veteran’s Day the courthouse lawn sprouts hundreds of white crosses to honor each Henderson County son or daughter who lost their life to protect our freedom. It is a very good place.
